Because I know some of you young hipsters just want to get right to flashing and not read through all of the KNOWN BUGS (though you REALLY SHOULD), I've consolidated some important things to remember.
I will keep this updated with any other questions people have.
The core of Android is released from AOSP under a combination of the Apache and GPLv2 licenses. Emerald is released under the GPLv2 license, which can be found below:

Video “sorta” works, but only on low-res and youtube videos, and even then it's choppy. progress has been made but more work needs to be done.
Network-based GPS works (fuzzy-gps) and is accurate to approximately 20 meters. However, pin-point gps or true gps is not currently functioning. It is being looked into.
The Camera freezes and ultimately crashes if you attempt to take a photo with it. The camcorder will crash as soon as you turn it on. These are being looked into as well.
For whatever reason the phone refuses to connect to the 3G/Data network. Phone calls appear to work, but not data. I will be looking into this and releasing a partial update fix in the future.
All bug reports and feature requests will be done through Bugzilla, an issue tracker hosted on this site. It requires a valid email to register (which is only used for tracking which users have what bugs), and provides a much better interface to report and track problems or features.
You can find the CCRoms Bugzilla here: CCRoms Bugzilla
I do this on my free time simply because I love it and want to provide something great to the community. That being said, I would love to be able to devote more time to doing this as a living. If you like the work that I do, please consider making a contribution!
